Itinerary

Day 01 : DELHI - SHIMLA | OVERNIGHT JOURNEY TO SHIMLA

  • Meet at the boarding point in Delhi .
  • Start your overnight journey from Delhi to Shimla in AC Bus.
  • *Note: Departure point will be confirm in the WhatsApp group.

Day 02 : SHIMLA - CHITKUL

  • This morning we will reach Shimla and the Adventure begins.
  • Hit the roads and begin your transfer from Shimla to Chitkul.
  • Travel along the Sutlej River till Karcham from where you will take a right turn towards Chitkul following the Baspa river.
  • Chitkul is the last inhabited village before the Indo-China border.
  • Overnight stay and dinner in Chitkul/Sangla

Day 03 : CHITKUL - TABO

  • Early call by the Trip Captain.
  • Depart to Tabo & On your way we’ll take hault at Khab Sangam.
  • Reach Nako & visit the Nako Lake, have your lunch.
  • Reach Tabo & Enjoy your food & stay in Homestay.

Day 04 : TABO-KAZA VIA DHANKAR

  • Wake up early. Have your Breakfast & visit the oldest Monastery.
  • Depart for Kaza.
  • Visit Dhankar Monastery on the way to Kaza.
  • Reach Kaza by evening & check into your homestay.
  • Enjoy the local food & afterwards watch the Stars.

Day 05 : KAZA - SPITI LOCAL SIGHTSEEING

    • Visit Langza, here is the popular 35ft. Buddha Statue at an altitude of 4400 mts.
    • Next on the list is Komic- the highest village connected with a motorable road.
    • Afterwards visit the Highest Post Office In The World. Visit the Asia’s highest Suspension Bridge- Chicham Bridge. Afterwards go to Kibber. Next is the heart of Spiti- Key Monastery. Come back to Kaza & explore the market.
    • Stay in a cozy homestay & enjoy the food.

Day 06 : KAZA TO CHANDRATAL

  • Have your breakfast & check out. Depart for Chandratal.
  • Upon arrival at our designated campsites, we’ll check in and then head towards the Chandratal Lake to spend some leisure time by the lakeside.
  • Dinner will be served in the evening followed by an overnight stay in the campsites.
  • NOTE: IF THE WEATHER CONDITIONS DON’T PERMIT US TO STAY IN THE CAMPS NEAR THE CHANDRATAL LAKE, WE’LL STAY IN THE SISSU REGION INSTEAD DOUBLE SHARING IN THE CHANDRATAL DEPENDS UPON THE AVAILABILITY OF THE CAMPS DUE TO RUSH SEASON AND LIMITED RESOURCES.

Day 07 : CHANDRATAL - MANALI | OVERNIGHT STAY IN MANALI

  • After early morning breakfast, we’ll check out of our campsites andstart our return journey to Manali.
  • Upon our arrival in Manali, we’ll spend the rest of the day at leisure.
  • Dinner & Overnight stay in Manali.

Day 08 : DEPARTURE FROM MANALI TO DELHI

  • After early morning breakfast, Checkout and explore some Manali Local & market.
  • In the evening, we will board the bus for an overnight drive to Delhi.

Day 09 : REACH DELHI | TOUR ENDS

The group will reach Delhi and part ways with fond memories.
Trip ends with full of unforgettable memories.

ABOUT the destination

Spiti (pronounced as Piti in Bhoti language) is a high-altitude region of the Himalayas, located in the north-eastern part of the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. The name Spiti means “The middle land” i.e. the land between Tibet and India. Spiti incorporates the valley of the Spiti river, and the valleys of several rivers that feed into the Spiti river. Some of the prominent side
valleys in Spiti are the Pin valley and the Lingti valley. Spiti is bordered on the east by Tibet,on the north by Ladakhn on the west
and southwest by Lahaul, on the south by Kullu, and on the southeast by Kinnaur. The valley band its surrounding regions are among the east populated regions of India.Spiti has a cold desert
environment. The Bhoti-speaking local population follow Tibet an Buddhism.

  • No refund shall be made with respect to the initial bookingamount for any of the cancellations.
  • If cancellations are made 30 days before the start date of the trip,
    50% of the trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellations are made 15-30 days before the start date of the trip,
    75% of the trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellations are made within 0-15 days before the start date of
    the trip, 100% of the trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • In the case of unforeseen weather conditions or government
    restrictions, certain activities may be canceled and in such cases,
    the operator will try his best to provide an alternate feasible activity.
    However, no refund will be provided for the same.
Frequently Asked Questions
  • No, Chitkul remains inaccessible in December due to heavy snowfall. The road beyond Sangla Valley is usually blocked, and temperatures drop below freezing.

  • The Manali to Spiti Valley distance takes about 14–16 hours by road. Most travelers halt at Chandratal or Kaza en route for rest or sightseeing.

  • The Shimla–Kaza–Manali circuit is considered the best route. The trip starts from Delhi → Shimla → Kaza → Manali, completing the Spiti circuit for a full Himalayan experience.

  • You can reach Spiti Valley from Manali via the Manali–Kaza route through Rohtang Pass and Kunzum Pass. It takes around 12–13 hours by road. During summer, shared taxis and local buses also operate between Manali and Kaza.

  • Yes, Manali is safe in December, though it experiences heavy snowfall. Roads may be slippery, but hotels and local transport remain operational. Just carry proper winter clothing and check road conditions before traveling.
